Most people think that letting go of suffering is about trying to get rid of it. But in reality, from my point of view is the elimination does not allow the suffering gone from your mind. Your suffering from the past is like a scar that has occurred on our bodies which are no way to remove that scar. Likewise, we cannot fix the past, but what happened then it will become a memory in us. Therefore, the actual release or letting go does not erase the past, as well as we are not able to fade scars that occur on our bodies. But what causes us to end suffering or let go of our suffering is just to accept a scar, and understanding that it's just a normal scar, everyone commonly has the wounds in their minds too.
